Cookie Policy
Effective date: 7 October 2026
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on later visits, which is how sites remember a login, a language or an advertising identity. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: localStorage and sessionStorage keep values inside the browser, IndexedDB keeps a small database there, tracking pixels report a page view by loading an image from another server, and fingerprinting identifies a browser by the combination of its settings.
This page lists each of those as it stands on evenformat.online. Only one entry says Used.
What we checked
- Cookies set by this site
- Not used. No page on this site asks your browser to store a cookie, for any purpose.
- Cookies set by others through this site
- Not used. No analytics, advertising, social, video or comment service is embedded anywhere here, so there is nobody else in a position to set one.
- localStorage
- Not used. The checklists do not remember what you tick, and no preference you set is written to your browser.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. Nothing is kept for the length of a visit, including which pages you have read.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. No database is created in your browser by this site.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. There is no invisible image, beacon or conversion tag on any page.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. We do not read your fonts, screen dimensions, canvas output or any other combination of properties to recognise your browser.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. The site uses the fonts already installed on your device and the only script is a short first-party file for the menu and the print button. Nothing is requested from any other server.
- Server access logs
- Used. Our hosting provider records each request to the site, as described below.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist to ask permission before a cookie is set. Nothing on this site sets one, so there would be nothing to ask about, and a banner here would misdescribe what the site does. We would rather publish this page than show a box that implies a choice you do not need to make.
What does happen when you read a page
Your browser asks our hosting provider for the page, and that request is written to a server log: the IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string. Those logs are kept for 30 days and are used for security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis. That is the entire record of your visit, and the Privacy Policy covers it in full.
The checklists do not remember your ticks
The boxes beside each checklist line are drawn by the stylesheet. They are printed marks, not controls: there is nothing to click, nothing is saved, and reloading the page leaves it exactly as it was. That is deliberate, because remembering your progress would mean storing something in your browser, and this site stores nothing. Print the checklists page if you want ticks that persist.
After you follow an affiliate link
The course links to the website of the game Enlisted, and those links are paid affiliate links described on our Affiliate Disclosure page. Once you follow one you are on someone else's website. That site and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies on their own domains, typically to record which site the visit came from. LOKGROUP s.r.o. does not control those cookies and cannot switch them off; their own cookie and privacy notices are the place to read about them.
Blocking or clearing cookies in any browser
Every current browser lets you see what has been stored, delete it, and refuse cookies in future. The controls sit in the settings menu under a heading such as privacy, security, site settings or site data, and most browsers also offer a private window that discards everything when it closes. Blocking cookies across the board will break sites that rely on them to keep you signed in; it will have no effect here, because there is nothing to block.
If this ever changes
If we ever introduce a cookie or any similar technology, this page will be rewritten to name it and explain what it does, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before anything is set on your device. We will not add a cookie first and update the page afterwards.
